Hi Yeti,
had another BOS player contact me re Saitek Combat Pedals configuration.
I remember you mentioning you were having issues with your pedals?
Any joy?
If not, submit a support ticket to the devs.
The suggested steps:
1. Win 10 - enable Auto Updates
2. Steam - Verify Game Cache
3. Uninstall il2, delete old folders etc, reinstall
4. The Nuclear Option - reinstall Win10, etc
Unfortunately the issue seems to be machine specific, ie to your PC!
Another user with the same config will not have an issue.
An update (Win10, il2?) has lost a driver or did not config something.
The alternative is to live with the issue and hope future patches to Windows and/or drivers and/or IL2BOS fix the issue.
Below are some suggestions from the forum re key and device binding issues.

Hello everyone,
We just released a small hotfix for input binding in case of unusual device names.
If you have not experienced this problem, there is no need to do anything.
If you encountered this problem (when you bind a command and it doesn't work) you need to do the following:
Variant 1:
1. Make sure the game is updated
2. Disconnect all controllers USB cables
3. Launch the game, go to input settings and click the 'default' button
4. Exit the game and reconnect all controllers
5. Run the game and re-assign all the commands
Variant 2:
1. Make sure the game is updated
2.Delete these files:
<game_folder>\data\input\current.actions
<game_folder>\data\input\current.devices
<game_folder>\data\input\current.map
<game_folder>\data\input\current.responses
<game_folder>\data\swf\il2\storage\storeddevices.txt
3. Run the game and re-assign all the commands
--------------------------------------------------
The above probably deletes:
\data\swf\il2\storage\saveddevicesidentifiers.txt
