Hello. I'm Apoll. Resident in Melbourne. Been into flight sims (as realistic as I can get it) for years. Played DCS, F4, CloD and of course IL2 BoS/BoM. But always single play until just very recently, when I have been getting into IL2 BoS multiplayer Wings of Liberty server. Huge fun, but I realise I suck at dogfighting. So just gpoing back to basics and will try and find time to fly when you guys are online to learn something. New to Teamspeak so not sure how that all works...but anyway, have a desire to get better online.
Regards,
Apoll

Nice to hear from you Apoll! You are not the only one that suck's at dogfighting! Teamspeak is rather straight forward - Bookmarks and Identities are probably the main ones. As mentioned, Sunday and Thursday evenings, 2030hrs. We are pretty easy going and fun is the name of the game. Don't be afraid to ask any questions - I'm sure one of us will have the answer.
Like what I have seen of DCS WW2 - just seems to take so long!

Tks Felix. Bookmarks and Identities? Types of Teamspeak? Anyway, I've downloaded and installed Teamspeak, so I'll try and get it working and make a Sunday night soon. DCS? Yes, looking good but if it's like all the other DCS titles, it'll be technically brilliant but a little soulless. Anyway, here's hoping. Not every is crap at dogfighting: got sniped by a Yak today at far range in a climbing turn and crashed in flames. On the Wings if Liberty server. Some of those guys are dead eye dicks: can't out run them, out climb them or out turn them in a 109. Frustrating.
Regards,
Apoll
