While we have been building a base of members our activity has been easy-going. Which is fine as far as it goes. We have made progress on the DServer and Mission Editor fronts. So we can run our own COOP style events.
The question is where do we want to go from here? if anywhere!
The obvious suggestion is to investigate adopting team tactics. We have all ventured onto furball servers and while a lot of fun your life expectancy can be pretty low. Flying in teams is the answer but that requires some structured activity to learn and a more disciplined way of flying.
Would members be interested in attending squad training nights?
This could involve aerobatics, fighter tactics (e.g., Thach weave, rolling scissors, etc) or introduction to other aircraft in the BOS/BOM range, e.g., how to dive bomb with the Stuka, level bomb with the pe2.
We are fortunate to have some experienced players in our ranks, so I would expect anyone who is interested in preparing something could be assigned an evening to present on a topic of their choosing.
Any suggestions are welcome.

I have been training myself a fair bit over the last week but mainly in getting my tailwheel endorsement so I can take of and land reliably rather than anything interesting. I'm ready to move on to more advanced things. :-)
I know my energy management sucks and it would be good to get some wingman training.

Good idea Felix, I will be doing shift work for the next 6 months so there will be nights where I'll be unavailable. Maybe do a basics night first ie- prop pitch, radiators and take offs then what formation to use after take off.
