Just installed 2.004 and took a Pe 2 for a landing praccy.
2 quick flights, one no bounce and second one a little bounce. Definitely nowhere as severe as previous.
I now have to tweak the brake sensitivity as both times I still ended up on my nose

Agree, ground handling is much better and it no longer feels like we are trying to land on a trampoline! Still have to be wary about braking and rudder trim on landing - one at a time, otherwise ground loop. I updated my NVidia driver yesterday, so hard to say whether it is 2.004 or NVidia providing graphic improvement, (or both!), but IMHO it does look better.
We should have a punt on Coconut's Expert server tonight to see how the AI performs - reports to date seem positive. Might have a look this afternoon sometime.
From the update notes: 30. Fw 190 AI won't crush into ground after receiving Attack Area order; 31. Fixed AI crashing into ground after dropping bombs at low altitude; 32. Fixed AI wingmen dangerous maneuvering while given Cover command that could cause them to crash into each other; 33. AI Fw 190 should enter uncontrollable spin less frequently (their angle of attack limit has been corrected); 34. AI P-40 should enter uncontrollable spin less frequently (their sideslip angle limit has been corrected); 35. Fixed AI crashing into ground after achieving maximum dive speed; 36. AI gunners won't always have a max skill level (their skill is now tied to AI pilot skill); 37. AI gunners open fire at a closer distance when given an 'fire at close distance' command; 38. Fixed Ju 88 gunners not firing if the pilot window was opened;
For the wage slaves, a lot to look forward to tonight!
